Kartel are pleased to announce a new label partnership with pioneering Argentinian electronic label ZZK Records (pronounced Zizek). Set up in 2008 the Argentinian label has become one of the most exciting and freshest voices in electronic music at the moment, winning international acclaim from the likes of Diplo, XLR8R, LA Times, NPR and more.
Kartel's first release with ZZK Records will be the scene defining 'Future Sounds of Buenos Aires' released on CD, 2xLP and digital on 5th November.
On the album, rural South-American styles fuse with electronic futurism on this stunning snap shot of the burgeoning experimental electronic scene that has emerged in Buenos Aires over recent years.
2013 will see full artist albums from Frikstailers, La Yegros, El Remolón with more ZZK events and tours being planned around the world.
