Fat Freddy's Drop announce on 19 date European tour in August
Taking time out from their Wellington based studio Fat Freddy's Drop will embark on an 18 date European tour this August. Traversing the continent from Poland to Portugal, Bristol to Bochum - the NZ seven piece will be road testing new songs from their next album slated for release in 2013.
Fat Freddy's Drop are steadily climbing European festival bills with headline slots at Sudoeste Festival, Standon Calling and Sunsplash - they close this tour as the main headliner for the Outlook Festival in Croatia.
Not many bands brave European headline shows in August, let alone those from the other side of the world. It is testament to Freddy's incredible live following that they will also play 11 headline shows in peak festival season! Less it be forgotten that August in the NZ capital is pretty wet and windy so who can blame a band for wanting a little winter sun to inspire them.
