Arnaldo Antunes, Edgard Scandurra and Toumani Diabaté will be playing a free in-store gig at 1pm on 2nd July at London's flagship Rough Trade record store, Rough Trade East. The trio will be playing tracks from their new collaborative record A Curva Da Cintura - the album which resulted after the trio met at the 2010 edition of the Brazilian festival Back2Black where famed kora player Toumani Diabaté invited acclaimed Brazilian songwriter and poet Arnaldo Antunes and guitar-hero Edgard Scandurra to travel to Mali to record with him.
The trio are also playing at this year's Back2Black, which takes place 29 Jun - 1 Jul at Old Billingsgate Market in East London, where they will be performing alongside the likes of Gilberto Gil, Jorge Ben and Amadou & Mariam.
