15.01.10 Richard Walters will be performing his first show of 2010 at the Stoke Newington Town Hall as part of Hackney Council’s Reveal showcases. He will be accompanied on the night by strings, guitar and piano. Also performing that evening are Leddra Chapman, Al Lewis and Greg Hall. Richard’s only other London show announced this year is a support date with The Cranberries at the Royal Albert Hall, a slot that he was personally chosen for by Dolores O’Riordan. In March Richard is heading to Austin, Texas to perform at this years SXSW festival.

19.11.09 To kick off the festive season in style, Soundway Records are throwing their very own 'Christmas Knees Up' in London this December. The night will see label boss Miles Cleret behind the decks along with very special guests Hugo Mendez (Sofrito and Tumbélé! compiler) and Big Bam Boo DJs. Expect the usual tropical heat for your seasonal feet! The night is £5 on the door and runs from 10 till 3am but arrive early to avoid disappointment.

01.10.09 Kartel are excited to announce a new partnership with French label Fargo, whose roster includes Joseph Arthur, Bosque Brown, Chris Garneau and Claire and the Reasons. Chris Garneau’s latest album El Radio was released last month and he’s set to play a headline show at the The Luminaire in London on 6th October. 06.08.09 Having officially released his debut album in the UK this summer via Naïve, Victor Démé is set to play a very special and rare show at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill this October. The Burkina Faso star was the highlight for many at this years WOMAD festival, receiving rave reviews from the likes of Shook FM. He was certainly one the hardest working performers at the festival, playing three times, including a special performance for BBC Radio 3. Performing as part of the Live Boutique Festival, an event with a French cultural twist, Titi Robin is also in the UK to record a session for Charlie Gillet on his World on 3 BBC radio show due for broadcast on 10th April.
