Fireworks Night is a 6-piece band from London. They write songs that bring to mind the very darkest moments of Nick Cave or Leonard Cohen, fragilely and thoughtfully adorned with violin and viola, banjo and musical saw, piano and drums, and the eerie baritone vocal boom of James Lesslie. They have made two exquisitely observed albums in the last five years, and garnered critical admiration for both.
